Newbridge Bog Oak
The wood for these handcrafted, resin-infused pendants was recovered from Bog Land close to the Kildare town of Newbridge.
Carbon Dated to 997BC, this wood is over 3,000 years old. Each pendant is cut from the same piece of Oak but is also unique because the pendants are individually cut, shaped and hand-sanded to a smooth, rich finish.
The care put into each pendant – the shaping, sanding, nourishing Danish oil, and finished with Beeswax and Carnauba Wax – guarantees a lovely, high-quality piece.
There’s no template. No specific measurements. Just a beautiful piece that is what it needs to be.
